Description:
The PRIALTEX P-AS-N cylinder dryer can be made in various versions, with 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 cylinders; moreover, several columns can be placed side by side until the desired working speed is reached.
The drying cylinders have 800mm diameter and are tested to work with inside steam pressure up to 6bar (the cylinders are supplied PED certified). Their shafts rotate in two SKF SY series supports with bearings suitable for high temperatures. The first and the second cylinder of each column are drived by a gearmotor and a chain, while all the others are driven by C-type belts. The transmission is applied on a machine stand. A single steam supply feed all the cylinders of the column; each not used cylinder can be excluded by means of a pneumatic valve. Furthermore all the cylinders are equipped with flexible hoses, 1 ”steam couplings, inverted bucket condensate drains, check valves and manual shut-off valves for both the steam and condensate lines. Steam and condensate are installed on a machine stand too. The area around the machine is closed by a suitable enclosure with doors equipped of safety switches. The way of fabric is made by means of stainless steel idle rollers. On request, the columns can be positioned above bases equipped with other idle rollers allowing machine bypassing. If there are more than one column, synchronism is performed by a pneumatic dancers. At the entrance of each column there is a curved cylinder. Above each column there is a heated hood in AISI 304. On request, not only the cylinders but the whole machine can be PED certified.
